Altenburg Garage’s spring exhibition has become a tradition, with visitors arriving to marvel at cars, get some inspiration or take a test drive. To attract as many customers as possible on exhibition weekend, the garage sends a personalized postcard as an invitation every year − a gesture that’s a hit with car enthusiasts.

To invite existing customers to its annual spring exhibition, Altenburg Garage resorted to a campaign using personalized, oversized postcards, just as it does every year − an eye-catching alternative to a letter. In just a few clicks, the garage itself created the mailshot online with PostCard Creator Business, and the postcards were then printed and sent by Swiss Post. Existing customer addresses were also updated before the postcards were mailed, an optional service from Swiss Post. The friendly and personal mailshot was a hit with customers. And the goal was reached: with around 400 visitors, Altenburg Garage was a popular weekend excursion destination in the region − and not just among car enthusiasts.
