In addition to electricity, St. Gallisch-Appenzellische Kraftwerke AG (SAK) provides many other services and products – inexpensive mobile phone subscriptions, for example. A broad, cross-media campaign aimed to raise the profile of the mobile phone services provided by SAK. In cooperation with 360° Cross-Channel Solutions, the services were advertised intensively and over multiple channels for the first time. With huge success!

Our approach
Awareness
- Running display ads with regional markers.
- Initial roll-out of e-mails to those living in the east of Switzerland.
- Digital out-of-home: digital outdoor advertising within a certain radius of selected postcode areas on public transport and outdoor screens in St. Gallen.
Remarketing
- All those who viewed and clicked the display campaign received a personal e-mail.
- Creation of a Facebook custom audience with ads based on the e-mail addresses and data from display ads during the initial phase.
Reminder
- Those who responded (clicked) during the remarketing phase received a personalized postcard.
- All those who viewed and clicked from the first two phases received a personalized reminder e-mail.
- Outbound marketing: some respondents (those who clicked on previous e-mails) were contacted by telephone.

The campaign enabled us to reach more people in Eastern Switzerland than ever before and to achieve significant growth in traffic and contract take-up. The cross-media approach set us on an efficient and successful path that we definitely want to pursue.
